Vince BallesterVince has more than 20 years experience as an IT professional in the financial services industry in the UK. He has worked within a number of leading companies including Kleinwort Benson, Equity & Law, Royal Life, Norwich Union, Virgin and the Royal Bank of Scotland. He has acquired a very wide experience of programme design and management and how to effect major change within large organisations, drawing upon strong inter-personal, organisational and team-building skills. Vince was one of the founder members of Virgin Direct, Virgin’s personal finance venture launched in 1995. He was a key member of the management team that worked collectively on the design, launch and running of this ground-breaking business. Within the management team, he held senior responsibility for business design and programme delivery, being formally appointed as Director of Business Design in 1998. The years at Virgin also saw Vince manage process design and IT delivery for the highly innovative Virgin One Account – the company’s all-in-one flexible mortgage and banking product. In 2002, Vince moved to Aviva where he became IT Director for the Norwich Union Wealth Management business, later also assuming responsibility for process design and organisational change. In 2003, he joined the Royal Bank of Scotland as Business Development Director responsible for the programme delivery of the highly successful launch of the First Active brand into the direct and intermediary market. Vince then set up Cepia Management in 2005 in partnership with Richard. |
